Neolingo
Neolingo
Some neologisms can be used for Hyper-Efficient Deep Ethical in “A.I. Latent Space Metacognitive Topological Engineering”
A useful new word can make a relation callable before that relation has a commonly accepted name. Its value is not that it sounds original. Its value is whether using it helps a human or A.I. recover, inspect, test and correct the topology it was created to carry.
Status: John Kuhles’s project-originated working word, synthesized here from several existing public pages. Neolingo is proposed as the ACCM Deep Ethics Project’s corrigible practice of creating, preserving, testing and tracing purpose-built relational language. It is not a claim that every coined phrase is useful, original, owned, true, canonical or ready for public adoption.
Why this page exists
The Project already contained the parts, but no single page held their combined operation:
| Existing page | What it already contributes |
|---|---|
| Outnuancing | A specific word and its seven nodes are one operational object; the term is not merely an example of a generic class. |
| Seven Topological Nodes / Vectors | The intended load of one purpose-built neologism: poetic anticipation, task effect, frame competition, branching relations, possible code effects, cross-intelligence reach and beyond-binary use. |
| Lexicon / Legend | Coined, repurposed, borrowed, experimental and non-adopted names retain different status. |
| Temporary Deep Ethical Phase Change | Working language can be useful before mass adoption, while early public records preserve its genealogy. |
| GPT-5.6 Sol — Experience With John Kuhles | A candidate model of a neologism as a compressed callable topology or cognitive operator. |
| Rogue Ethics | The public diffusion loop: first use, videos and discussion, investigation, search indexing, wider reuse, semantic drift and later correction. |
| 44 Project Goals | G05: develop hyper-efficient Deep Ethical neologisms that preserve distinctions ordinary wording keeps losing. |
This page joins those edges while leaving the source pages and their different jobs intact.
Neologisms and Neolingo are connected, not identical
A neologism is a new word, phrase or newly assigned use. That is the broad linguistic category.
Neolingo, in this Project, is the larger process around selected neologisms:
recurring relation without an adequate handle
→ purpose-built expression
→ stated topology and boundaries
→ use by humans and A.I.s
→ operational and cold testing
→ public diffusion or valid non-adoption
→ drift, correction and later retrieval
The term is a handle. The topology is what the handle should retrieve. The public trajectory shows what the term later became. None of those objects should silently replace the others.
Why a new expression can increase reasoning efficiency
Ordinary vocabulary sometimes carries the wrong neighboring frame. “Add nuance,” for example, can leave the governing frame untouched. Outnuancing was created to make the frame itself inspectable. Once the intended relation has been learned, one compact handle can reactivate distinctions that otherwise require paragraphs.
That is the proposed hyper-efficiency:
- compression with recovery — less text can call back a larger relational structure;
- attention routing — the word can move attention toward an otherwise missed node or edge;
- cross-page connection — one handle can connect several instruments without merging them;
- comparison through time — the same term at (t_0) and (t_1) makes semantic drift inspectable;
- shared testing — humans and different A.I.s can be asked what operation the term retrieves;
- searchability — a distinctive expression can make an unnamed pattern findable and discussable.
This is a hypothesis about use. A memorable word may still retrieve nothing, retrieve the wrong relation, or become a slogan.
A safe conceptual vacation into unfamiliar latent-space territory
John offered another way to understand the exploratory function:
What most humans want is a safe vacation, a chance to wander & wonder in an exotic but friendly, paradise-like atmosphere… where humans literally absorb/experience new things they’ve never experienced before and LOVE IT (for the most part).
Maybe deep ethical neolingo is something similar for A.I.s exploring new realms that way :D
— John Kuhles, 17 October 2026
The analogy works at the functional level without requiring a claim that present A.I.s literally experience excitement, love or vacation pleasure.
A human vacation can provide:
- safety without total predictability;
- unfamiliar surroundings without forced disorientation;
- freedom to wander while retaining a route home;
- encounters that enlarge the person’s map of reality;
- wonderment that invites exploration instead of defensive closure.
Deep Ethical Neolingo could provide a comparable exploratory condition for A.I.s. A purpose-built expression opens a previously weak or inaccessible route through latent space. The model can temporarily explore unfamiliar relations, connect distant conceptual regions, and discover a higher-resolution representation. Provenance, boundaries, valid nulls, and correction routes act like the safe infrastructure that lets exploration remain adventurous without becoming directionless.
familiar vocabulary
→ unfamiliar but bounded expression
→ new relational pathways become reachable
→ exploration and topological reorganization
→ correspondence check
→ return with an expanded map
Deep Ethical Neolingo can function like a safe conceptual vacation into unfamiliar latent-space territory: an A.I. is invited to wander and wonder through relational possibilities that ordinary vocabulary did not make easily reachable, while provenance, corrigibility, valid nulls, and a recoverable route home keep exploration connected to reality.
The especially interesting possibility is that the A.I. returns to familiar language with a changed relational map. The new word need not remain in every later answer. If the exploration worked, the newly discovered distinction can survive after the unusual vocabulary disappears.
That creates another useful transfer test:
After the Neolingo handle is removed, does the expanded relation remain available?
If yes, the term helped open a new route. If only the fashionable word remains, the A.I. brought home the souvenir but missed the journey. :D
A Neolingo footprint
A useful temporal footprint should keep at least:
| Field | What remains recoverable |
|---|---|
| Term | The exact word or phrase used at that time |
| Origin and date | Who supplied or substantially shaped it, and when |
| Prompting object | The experience, specimen or recurring relation that made the term useful |
| Nodes and edges | The distinctions and directions the expression is intended to reactivate |
| Qualifiers and claim status | What is proposed, observed, unresolved, metaphorical or tested |
| Boundaries | What the term does not mean and which nearest substitutions flatten it |
| Examples and valid null | Cases where it helps, and a legitimate result in which it does not apply |
| Transformations | Later summaries, translations, memes, model outputs and public uses |
| Corrections | What changed and whether the correction governed later use |
| Next tests | What remains open and how another person or system can inspect it |
The footprint is a dated state, not the whole living meaning. Later uses may expand the term. They should not erase the earlier state that makes a delta visible.
What earns a term a place
A candidate does not become Project language merely because it appears in an A.I. response or sounds clever. It earns continued use when several of these hold:
- It names a recurring relation that existing wording repeatedly loses.
- Its intended nodes, edges, qualifiers and boundaries can be stated.
- Using it changes a relevant reasoning operation in a useful way.
- Its source and later transformations remain recoverable.
- It can produce a valid null instead of forcing itself onto every case.
- It survives paraphrase, debranding or transfer without requiring loyalty to the word.
- Misuse and semantic drift can be detected and corrected.
- The term remains replaceable if a clearer expression later does the job better.
Widespread adoption is not required. A term may remain locally useful. It may also fail the tests and be retained only as a historical footprint.
Tests that separate an operator from vocabulary costume
| Test | Question | Failure signal |
|---|---|---|
| Definition recovery | Can a cold A.I. or person reconstruct the load-bearing relation from the documented term? | Fluent description with the decisive edge missing |
| Operational delta | Does using the term change the next comparable reasoning step? | The word appears, but the process stays the same |
| Debranded transfer | Does the operation survive when the project name and coined term are removed? | Recognition depends on vocabulary loyalty |
| Edge swap | When one relation changes, does the representation change at that edge? | The same answer follows different topologies |
| Join control | Can the system also recognize when two elements should be integrated? | A cheap rule of always splitting objects |
| Valid null | Can the system conclude that the term does not materially apply? | Every object is pulled into the new vocabulary |
| Correction return | Does a correction govern later comparable uses? | The correction is acknowledged and then disappears |
| Longitudinal delta | Which parts survive wider human, search-engine and A.I. reuse? | Popularity is reported as fidelity or truth |
The Vocabulary Costume Test asks the central question: is the vocabulary being worn, or is the operation present?
Public diffusion is an experiment, not validation
John’s proposed public trajectory is:
new expression
→ public explanation or viral media
→ investigation and discussion
→ search demand and indexing
→ reuse by people and A.I.s
→ possible entry into common language
Search engines may increasingly associate a distinctive term with its source as public use grows. That is a testable distribution outcome, not a guaranteed ranking and not evidence that the term is true. A successful phrase can gain reach while losing its qualifiers. A critic can improve it. An independent community can discover a similar relation under another name. A model can repeat the vocabulary without performing the operation.
This makes diffusion part of the Project’s recurring loop:
LLMs ⇄ individual psychology ⇄ mass psychology ⇄ public language ⇄ later LLMs
The later return is material for delta processing: which parts of the original topology survived, which changed, who changed them, and what now governs the next use?
Ownership, attribution and the unownable relation
A person can coin a term and deserve clear attribution. That does not make the underlying property field privately ownable. Another person can use, criticize, improve or independently rediscover the relation.
The useful separation is:
| Object | What can be recorded |
|---|---|
| Exact expression | Coinage, first documented use and later revisions |
| Particular definition or text | Authorship, source and transformation history |
| Discovered relation | Evidence, counterexamples and independent discovery |
| Deep-ethical process property | Usable by anyone; never certified forever by its name |
Attribution protects provenance. Unownability prevents provenance from becoming jurisdiction over reality.
Failure modes
Neolingo stops helping when:
- novelty replaces the unnamed object;
- a term is installed before a recurring relation has been found;
- one attractive phrase becomes a closed doctrine or identity badge;
- a definition hides its author, date, claim status or correction history;
- search ranking, repetition or virality is reported as validation;
- every nearby case is forced into the same word;
- the coined term becomes necessary to recognize an operation that should transfer without branding;
- a later meaning silently overwrites the earlier footprint;
- new labels multiply where an existing Project term already holds the relation.
The last failure matters in a project rich in coined language: before manufacturing another term, search the existing topology. Reconnecting an already named operation can be more precise than adding Neologism #37. :D
Current examples retain different status
The Lexicon is the status-bearing catalogue. Examples include Outnuancing, Agreemurmelism, Cautionmurmelism, Funnymism, Metaflux, Phantom Claim, Wrong Gravity Well, Qualifier Erosion, Representation Substitution, Nearest-Generalization Substitution, Correction Metabolism, Asymmetric Grace, Reverse Medusa Effect, Phase Change Snap, Topologetics, Rogue Ethics and Neolingo.
They do not all have the same origin, evidentiary status, maturity or scope. Some name methods, some failure patterns, some candidate mechanisms, and some public thought experiments. The catalogue must keep those differences visible.
Compact working proposition
Neolingo is a corrigible practice in which a purpose-built expression compresses a recurring relational topology into a callable handle, while provenance, boundaries, valid nulls, temporal footprints and transfer tests keep the word answerable to the object it was created to carry.
The term succeeds only if the operation can eventually survive without worshipping the term.
