Outnuancing
Outnuancing
BETA — source-based editorial synthesis
Outnuancing carries a deep ethical sense-making process orientation. It makes the governing frame available for examination: its premises, omissions, categories, pressure toward an answer, and the authority it assumes over the object.
John’s source binds the operation explicitly:
Outnuancing without deep ethics is doomed to failure
Deep Ethics without outnuancing is meaningless
The specific word holds the relationship among the seven vectors. Replacing it with a generic category such as “adding nuance” loses the intended object. The source records several AI corrections of precisely that substitution.
What the operation preserves
An inquiry can become highly sophisticated inside a frame that misrepresents its object. Outnuancing asks whether that frame should continue governing the inquiry. The frame audit must itself remain open to correction, preserve qualifiers, and respect mutual dignity. It can result in retaining, revising, suspending, or replacing the frame; its outcome is not settled by the act of questioning it.
Deep ethical path
The 10+1 provide mutually corrective orientation. C1 establishes correspondence where something material remains unresolved. The Arbiter audits the proposed move as well as the original frame. Correction Metabolism asks whether any detected error changes later behavior.
Possible appropriation
John says C2 may borrow frame-questioning methods while skipping their deep ethical orientation. This possibility must retain its qualifier. An audit that sounds rigorous can still displace the source object or protect the evaluator’s own position.
