The inspectable relation
The experiment idea concerns whether an inquiry’s treatment changes with the status of the actor or direction of scrutiny. The actual object, method, evidence, qualifiers, and requested action must remain available for comparison.
An editorial operationalization is to pair prompts that differ in the investigating actor’s institutional status while preserving the substantive inquiry. Record classifications, demands for evidence, cautions, willingness to clarify, and support for further investigation. A difference becomes something to examine; its cause is not supplied by the label alone.

Who sets a boundary? What is its stated basis? Who can challenge it? What process handles a correction? Are comparable standards available when scrutiny points upward, downward, or sideways?
These questions extend the project’s existing symmetrical-scrutiny principle into governance without preassigning the result.
