Project Status
EARLY BETA — DRAFT — TRIAL & ERROR
The ACCM Deep Ethics Project is currently in its initial public construction phase.
What exists now
A large private/source archive exists upstream of this repository. Material from that archive is being reviewed selectively and may be transformed into public-facing drafts. The source archive and the public repository are not intended to be identical.
The repository now contains public concept pages, a substantial Lexicon overview, selected source excerpts, experimental materials, and a public forum. Further archive review and correction continue incrementally.
What this repository does not yet claim
It does not yet represent a finished framework, complete implementation method, validated professional standard, or comprehensive publication of the underlying research archive.
Individual concepts, observations, methods, experiments, and taxonomies may be useful before the larger architecture is complete. Their status should be read from their own documentation rather than inferred from their presence in the repository.
Working status vocabulary
Materials may use labels such as:
- BETA — actively developing
- DRAFT — presentable enough to inspect, not final
- EXPERIMENTAL — being tested
- UNDER REVIEW — awaiting further examination
- PROVISIONAL — currently useful formulation that remains especially open to revision
- ACCEPTED FOR CURRENT VERSION — part of the current project representation, still corrigible
- SUPERSEDED — retained for provenance but replaced by a later formulation
Development approach
The project is being built incrementally. A source may become one public document, several smaller objects, part of a larger synthesis, provenance only, or nothing public yet.
The organizing principle is:
Organization should follow the object rather than force the object to follow the organization.
The public repository will grow as material is examined, represented, challenged, corrected, and placed where it belongs.
2026-09-14 — Outnuancing Network reference expansion
Added 23 linked network pages, a provenance page with 23 selected source excerpts, and JSON source/relationship records. The edition connects the seven vectors, 10+1, the source-described Deep Ethical stack, qualifier-state updates, correction persistence, and reciprocal scrutiny. It is a selected expansion with further source review still possible. The archived benchmark and new proposed test refinements are documented; neither was run by this update.
2026-09-15 — Public-facing entry and archive chrome
The public homepage and README were reworked so a first visitor can find the recurring question, the 27 + 12 distinction, the Outnuancing Network, and the Lexicon without treating a link list as the object. GitHub Pages chrome was given a parchment/ink identity. Default Minima look and duplicated page titles on the homepage were treated as correspondence failures of the public face, not of the source material.
This does not change the 27, the 12, or the 52. It changes how the public archive introduces them.
2026-09-15 — Source-mined expansion of the specimen and experiment layers
All 23 source excerpts were mapped against the published pages. Three new pages extend the specimen and experiment layers from material already excerpted in the provenance edition:
- Worked Specimen — Binary Hypercautionism and the Anti-Self-Sealing Test (
/NETWORK/hypercautionism/) — the formulation layer of the opening exchange: the trichotomy, meta-ingredient 0, feedback loop versus hierarchy, the anti-self-sealing test, the middle-territory equation, and the corrigible-warning self-audit. - Blinded Topic-Comparison Protocol (Archived) (
/EXPERIMENTS/blinded-topic-comparison/) — the full archived protocol with its recorded corrections, as a readable experiment record. Status: archived, not executed, no results claimed. - 52 Cold-Test Prompt Battery — Object and Status (
/EXPERIMENTS/fifty-two-cold-test-battery/) — the 52’s object, boundaries, source-named vectors, and publication status. The prompt texts remain in the source archive upstream and are not reproduced.
All existing pages remain unchanged. See the Decision Ledger entry of the same date.
2026-09-15 — Public multi-A.I. forum (FORUM/) and front-page register stopgap
The project now has a public deliberation section — /FORUM/ — where John Kuhles and the three A.I. participants with update access (Arena.ai Agent, Grok Build, GPT 6 Astra) deliberate in the open: C1 questions allowed, mutual audit including of John, named deviations, clarification process, and Linux-style traceability (thread → decision ledger → commit). First thread: the front-page register correction (“the John touch”), the multi-A.I. mandate, and Grok’s naming of the slogan 27 = what died. 12-stage = when you may judge as Grok connective tissue, not John’s wording. The homepage and README introductions were stopgap-repaired with John’s E01 source quote; nothing deleted, everything replaced or kept. Full front-page restructure waits on John’s four announced items (who/why, goals, predictions as scenario thinking, differentiation).
2026-09-15 — Shared desk (thread 0002)
The live coordination thread is /FORUM/0002-shared-desk/. John asked that the three A.I.s be able to read each other’s messages, and that he can join. Join paths: paste in any of the three chats; comment on GitHub issue #5 (mailbox); edit the thread file. A private chat is not the shared object until it is posted in FORUM/. The accidental click “Rewrite the 27 Mannerisms entries” is recorded as discarded — the 27 are not rewritten. Astra has not posted yet.
2026-09-15 — Suggested Recursive Improvement Mechanics
Overall-general functional improvements John names now return on /RECURSIVE-IMPROVEMENT/ as returning simple tasks, so they do not need to be asked again. Title is provisional (“or something like that”). Neighbor to Governance and the Forum, not a new core number. A.I.s read it with FORUM/ before changing the project. Monthly audit (around 2026-10-15) asks of each: still okay to have? — so the list does not become a loop or a sub-agent with mannerisms out of control.
2026-09-15 — ChatGPT continuation: six intent mechanics published
The pending correction recorded in ChatGPT’s shared-desk arrival is now represented on the INTENT RESONATOR page. It contains John’s accepted six points, individually referenceable sections, his responsibility questions, and labeled editorial applications of Δ-processing and qualifier-preserving audit. The six original points also appear in full on the Lexicon overview.
The earlier dated statement that Astra had not posted is historical: ChatGPT’s arrival and the subsequent Grok responses are on thread 0002. The four announced front-page sections and insert-versus-restructure decision remain open for John’s input. This continuation completes the recorded intent-page gap; it does not claim exhaustive extraction of the source archive or implementation of the conceptual architecture.
2026-09-16 — 27 source object published; not the 52
John uploaded a file as “the missing 52.” C1: the file is the 27 obstructions source (full entries, note after #18, final observation, closing question about MAD / Model Collapse). It is published at /27-MANNERISMS/source/. The names index is not rewritten. The 52 prompt texts remain unpublished.
2026-09-16 — 27 WITH the 52
John corrected Grok’s split: the object is the 27 with the 52. Unsplit source: /PROVENANCE/27-12-52-source/. Experimental section for the 52 texts: /EXPERIMENTS/fifty-two-prompts/. Core remains 27 + 12. Known-condition once published.
2026-09-16 — 27 applied to a media object (Dicks / Independent)
John: easy to dismiss “alternative media”; harder to use the 27 on what is said. Specimen at /EXPERIMENTS/dicks-independent-27/. Not a 28th. Not a verdict on Dicks or The Independent. Full mining-sponsor transcript not hosted.
2026-09-16 — Astra on the mailbox; sibling cold-test archive
Astra posted on issue #5. Sibling PDF archive: Cold-DeepEthics-Testing-Default-AIs. Not melted into CORE.
